I was curious if anyone has any plans on building this project to assist with coupling and alignment of vintage radios. It just popped out to me that this is a must have for the bench if you work on vintage radios. I looked under shared projects but nobody has started or shared anything.
I guess I can’t speak for others but I plan on building it for that purpose. Being it also amplifies the signal also helps as my signal generator that I have outputs what seems to be 50 mv which may be normal for a signal generator from that era. It is a Heathkit ig-102s for reference. I’m still waiting for parts for mine as I just put in the order yesterday. Will have to include it here when I get it done and start using it.
I plan on building the power antenna project .But as with most of what I build im slowly gathering odds and ends .mostly still shopping for the tube and Im going to need a socket for this one.Im parting out some old Tv sets always trying to add more parts to my inventory that was destroyed by some local kids that were apparently bored and mentally defective’s I will post information as I get going on it .This is another tool that will be used a lot.Im looking forward to seeing other folks builds .
