Looks like it would take minimal work since it has a bunch of ceramic caps in it. Fairly clean aside from the dust on top. What is your plans for it?
Radios + Tubes + Scopes + Cars= Nothing better!
Ill be going through it to get it back up and playing without danger of cooking it. It does work but I didnt keep it on long. Variacd up and some radio signal came through.
@cpechiar While looking for any info on this radio, I ran across a post talking about kits coming from Japan. It has Japanese ITT tubes but it is made for US power 117 vAC transformer.
@onedamnote Interesting, if it was assembled in Japan (low labour cost at that time) it can be understandable, but if it is a kit that the end user assembles the fact that the parts ar USA made and the kit comes from Japan is.. interesting..
