I have the time (retired) to assemble a few of Mr Carlson’s Inventions. I have all the parts finally & i use Hakko soldering irons and have done a few SMD builds & repairs so i know the Hakko T18-BR02 bent tip really well. Sadly it’s really easy to knock it when return the iron to the holder & this alters the shape of the very small point. It’s sure awkward to use after that. Genuine tips are not cheap. Lucky break this week only, local sale on them at NZD$13.50 so I’ve splashed out… This should keep me going!
