  • I have a Heathkit lg-1 and the reduction drive on the tuning capacitor slips I’ve removed the capacitor and cleaned it thoroughly but I can’t get it working again. Anyone else have any tips or am I hunting for a new part?

@microns2026 thanks I have considered gluing the smaller shaft in place and just using it as a direct drive . But this is a last resort. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that.

Are you an AI  bot?

And or do you continue to post this exact same phrase just to fill empty space or gain forum rank?

Whichever,   your online manner appears to be at the very least of a foreign land and language

This is about the 15th time you have posted these words so you are either an AI Bot or you are attempting to quickly gain forum status and or pad your Account / profile.
