You are in the realm of very specific technology namely FPGA development. The datasheet for the family of devices tables their individual capabilities including onboard RAM availability. It may well be that needing to address external RAM is not required as there is quite a generous availability in onboard. When designing & determining if a device is suitable for your project it pays to study the provided datasheet indepth & in the case of needing further clarification I would not hesitate & reach out directly to the manufacturer for such info. They will be only too happy to help.
