Hello! I’m new to the forum. Awhile back I bought a pile of test equipment including one particular device that I can’t make heads or tails of. I’m hoping that someone here might know what it is or at least direct me towards where I can find more information on it. It consists of 5 modules. I’ve linked some photos on my website including photos of one module that I removed. If anybody has any questions or would like me to add more photographs or to photograph other modules, just let me know.
To add some context to one of the photos, the tag stating “709-202/01 N*Fab. 1160” is on the outer case and not the module. Each module has its own tag.

Welcome, being your first post the link was removed. Once you get approved try posting the pictures again. I recommend finding the uploading pictures post in the general tab and doing that method. I would link it if I was on a computer. In this case, we won’t get far without pictures.

@radtekman Thank you for the clarification. I thought I just needed the email verification and was not aware that my first post could not contain a link. Here’s a link to imgur. Hopefully it goes through this time.

@tommytorty10 I feel your frustration with posing pictures. It is not a simple task for patreon groups. But here is what works for me.
1. go to Imgur website and sign up for an account.
2. in the upper left click NEW POST to add photos.
3. Drop or search photo to add.
4. in the upper right corner of the photo you just added click on the 3 dots to drop down menu and click on Get Share Links.
5. another popup will show several choices to select, choose BBcode (Forums). This is the link you need to add to your post to show pictures.
6. before embedding the link into Carlson’s page look to the right of the photo on Imgur and make sure it says public and not Hidden.
7. Now you can embed the link into Carlson’s page, but it will show as just a link until you click post then is will turn into the picture.
8. DO NOT hit POST if you want to load more than one picture.
If you want to add multiple pictures you must repeat the process on Imgur for each picture you want to post and embed the link into your post on Carlson’s page. Keep repeating until you have embedded all the photo links. Once you have uploaded all your photos on IMgur and embedded all the links to Carlson’s page that is when you hit POST on Carson’s site. I know this is crazy to have to get all your pictures posted but there is no way to upload a group of photos all at once from Imgur without creating a separate link for each photo.
Unless someone has a better way this is how I do it. Good luck
Here should be the

For clarity, if this doesn’t work, I notice that if I try to paste the link directly into the reply box here, it just doesn’t show up. I’m assuming I have to actually embed it on some text or something.

For Science I’m now gonna post some links from my original imgur post. If this works and helps anyone, I clicked my profile picture in the top right, clicked images. Then I clicked an image and a menu opened with various link options including BBCode and “Linked BBCode”. I chose just BBCode, because it said “message boards and forums” next to it.

It is interesting. The modular design is nice for servicing. It seems to be used for monitoring LF or RF signals and maybe sends them out to an external display. The phase stuff seems to be like a vectorscope used for monitoring TV signals. That is my guess.

@john-barron That is just ridiculous. Why have they made it so difficult to post a photo. Surely Paul can organise something easier.
@deckedoutdaz It is not up to Paul. It is Patreon That determines how things are posted. Even Paul has to adhere to their rules using their site to post his work.
This forum isn’t related to Patreon directly. That is a result of the construction of this site. Remote hosting really reduces the memory space required for storing all the pictures, but makes it more difficult to post. I am a moderator in another forum and you can edit posts indefinitely so if something isn’t right, you can always go back and fix it. Here you have a limited amount of time to edit if you don’t catch it right away. Every site is different, that’s just how it is.
