You can get compression style RCA connectors that are made for RG-6. This eliminates the need to install an F connector and the F to RCA adapter. This saves money and makes the connector more compact.
Agreed prawlings1. One manufacturer who does a range of RCA “crimpables” covering various coaxes is Canare. I very stupidly failed to rescue an entire drum of Belden 1505F (the nice flexible stuff) about a year ago which would have then been a free cost, but these things happen. FWIW: here’s a link

Yes also agree. Made thousands of these compression connections on RG6 and RG58 and RG59 using both F type and BNC compression fittings. also a fewer number of RCA and other types. One advantage though of using the F types is you can make a large batch of test leads that can be adapted by using F type adapters, which can be screwed on nice and tight. I used to do this with BNC connectors and adapters kept in a cabinet next to the test leads. BNC connectors are not as reliable as the F type in that they can become loose and noisy. For a permanent cable I always use the final type compressed onto the lead.
