I have two 70 micro henry inductors each is wrapped around a 3.3k resistor which are in parallel LR and need to be replaced, where can I get one or can they be made? if so how? They are for an old (Sencore O-Scope 148A) located in the Vertical section of the push pull tube V3 pins 1 and 6, marked L7 connects to pin 1 and L6 connects to pin 6. Can I just buy a 70uh inductor and put it in parallel with a 3.3k resistor or does that configuration of being in the center of the inductor matter?
I would think buying a separate inductor and putting it in parallel to the resister would work fine. Odds are, they did a special order for that to be set up that way because in the long run, it was more cost effective for assembly. I’d keep the leads short tho. If possible, I’d even wrap the leads for the inductor around the resister leads and then solder into place. Basically, try to replicate the original as best as you can and keep things as close as possible.
