Part 4 oscillator

Part 3 Breadboard oscillating in a clean sine wave; but, the part 4 protoboard build has a <a title=”Part 4″ href=” removed link ” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>30 ns knee on the rise in the center of the wave.  Also ferrite insertion behaves odly causing a low freq anplitude envelope.  None of this observed in part 3 build…

@stevokeano for pictures imgur (picture hosting service the free version of it) works great. Also using “Google Photos” worked (for me as well). There is a topic here explaining the use of Imgur service

@stevokeano Might be a silly question, but are the leads on your components the same length and position between the different builds? The waveform almost looks like there might be some voltage being induced across leads (the plateau in the waveform).

Nothing jumping out at me.

Coil and layout are the 2 probabilities. Checked components and they were all matching on the VI curve tester.
