Lambda Model #71 Power Supply

Found at the end of an estate sale when things were just being given away. It was a whole pallet of stuff marked “free”. Took all of it. This power supply was part of it. It’s a beast! Got it home and brought it up with dim bulb and variac. Surprisingly all voltages are present. It works albeit kinda scary. I know Mr. Carlson has one on his bench. I don’t have room on the bench but I think I should keep this thing. Anyone have thoughts?

Lucky day! I wouldn’t mind having one or two. Right now I only have a heathkit IP32 for high voltage. It is the one off to the left of the old bench, just google lambda model 71.

Radios + Tubes + Scopes + Cars= Nothing better!

More lucky day. The full manual is on line including schematic. This thing is in great shape but alas looks all original. I have a million projects
