What has been your best tool to strip RG-316 or small coax?

Not that I work with coax everyday, I just manually strip with a knife. Not practical for quantity, but it does the job for me. Tools are always nice though!

Radios + Tubes + Scopes + Cars= Nothing better!

@radtekman The center wire is a pain as it is so small to strip the RG-316.

At my age, my eyes are poor, and very hard to see how deep I am cutting.

I was able to get it under my scope, but has to be a better way.

@larry_n7luf For TV or thicker coax cables I use this (home-depot style) cable strippers:

and for thinner coax cable i use this (Walmart style) coax cable strippers:

However, for a “one off” I tend to reach out for a standard “Stanley knife” instead, as stated by “RadTekMan” above.
