Hi, I’m Brian. I’m 65 years old, Retired from work due to Ill health. I live in Stockton-on-Tees, United Kingdom with my darling wife of 45 years, Pam. I started work at 16 as a Petrol (gasoline) station attendant. I remember not long after I had started there, walking in on my boss (A Lady or so I thought) having sex with the young mechanic from the attached garage. Nothing wrong with that you might say. However, The lady in question was my best friends mother, who started pleading with me not to tell her son. 

In 1980 I married Pam and I was working as an assistant Manager of a discount supermarket. My wage at the time was £63.75 a week. Over the years we had two wonderful children and moved around in various jobs. One of my last ones being an Electrician, which I loved. But time spent on my knees and using my fingers to manipulate cables all day took it’s tole and I ended up retiring due to osteoarthritis throughout my body.

I’m not on Social Media, to be honest, I can’t be bothered with it. It’s just not my cup of tea, spying on people’s lives. I really don’t want to know what you had for lunch or how shit your life is right now. There’s enough things happening in the world to bring you down, without you choosing to take part in it too. Do something kind every day, make someone laugh or help to lift their burden a little. You’ll be surprised how giving of yourself will lighten your load too.
