Few days ago I reverse engineered TL494 CC-CV PSU Buck-Boost, but it has some weird parts on the schematic. I can share that if you want.

There is a Hong-Kong manufacturer that makes (in my Opinion) a fairly decent Lab PSU’s at a reasonable price.  The one that use is a RIDEN RD6018W that seems a very versatile PSU and has lots of features. There is a large variety of output currents and maximum out voltages model Numbers you can choose from. My model number is just one variant that I choose. Usually found on Chinese websites such as Aliexpress, BangGood, GearBest etc but also found on E-bay. Please note that it is usually sold as a kit or as separate components as in: 1. The main unit (that would be the front panel with all the controls and the color OLED Screen) 2. The switching power supply module, 3. The enclosure that includes a fan, a power switch , all needed screws and the mains socket + power cord as well. You can also find it readily built as in (the finished product). I purchased my unit about 5-6 years ago in a kit form and built it myself and it still works well to this day. However, please note that as a general idea, switch Mode Power supplies are noisy !!! (higher ripple, RF noise generation over Harmonics etc) even though more efficient that a “classic” Linear power supply that always uses a big, heavy, bulky transformer. However, please keep in mind that, for RF /radio/ radio-frequency sensitive and perhaps Audio applications as well, a Linear Power Supply is always your best bet ! and this has also been strongly underlined numerous times by MCL. I myself use a Linear power supply as well. So My power supply usage is always application dependent as I often switch one over the other. So,….the choice is yours.
