Does anyone know where I can get/find a schematic for the device. My unit does not have the external heat sink.
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1639155/Tektronix-Ps280.html. Hopefully ,this is what you’re asking and is free.
Hmm. that is strange. Clicking on it didn’t work for me either. Well…all i did was to copy paste from my browser. But anyway if one navigates to http://www.manualslib.com and does a simple search for the above it it 100% there. I really do not know what went wrong with that link.
Thanks, but that is the same as I have. Page 19 shows the rear panel with a large external heat sink. My unit has a 4 in fan in the center of the panel, and has the heat sink internal.
Well, in this case who knows ? it can possibly be a newer revised unit or perhaps a version 2 of the initial unit. Sometimes it pays to have a closer look at what it says on the label and perhaps do a search including the serial number of something (Just an idea).
After a little research, apparently the PS280 is not a Tektronix product conception (in a true sense) but in fact this was an OEM design and renamed as “Tektronix” and was made “on behalf of Tektronix” by Goodwill Instruments / Taiwan and China. See Model GW GPC-3020D. There is a reference manual (for many pieces of different Tektronix equipment) that I’ve found on within 1 PDF file. In there, you can find all the needed test points and procedures to calibrate the unit (should you need to). and perhaps some other info. It might help.
Link don’t work? Just remove the period after html. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1639155/Tektronix-Ps280.html
@ovi4 thanks, but i don’t think that the goodwill co documented their version.
Check the links in the last reply in this thread:

Yes, I see Larry’s picture in there…. 😆 Oh, but that’s back in 2017. So Larry, did you actually managed to find a schematic Diagram for your Power Supply in the end? Or….this is still an ongoing project waiting to happen in the future ? Do you actually still have your Power Supply or…? I see that clicking on those 2 links (at the bottom of that page) doesn’t actually yield any results to a schematic as such. On one of the links it says in Spanish “Website under maintenance” or something like that.
