Dear Forum Goers,
I am completely new at Electronics. I have learned quite a bit by reading and Mr Carlson’s videos and lessons!
I have this Boss RV-1000 which really has a sound to it, I like it, but it has a noise that sounds like a capacitor to me, with any signal passing through it. I use it for guitar, into an amp. I replaced a few capacitors, which I have circled in external link, with Panasonic ones of the same ratings. I am still learning to read schematics. The noise is still there. There was a capacitor (see pictures) glued on the underside of the board, that I thought was the culprit, but it was just glue on it, and not a leak. I replaced that one as well. The grey wire I have circled, had some noise when I moved it, but it stopped. By looking at the RV-1000 service notes, does anyone have an idea on what the crackling distortion noise could be when I play? Everything on the board looked fine to me and all the solder joints looked great upon first look. I have copied a link to a Google drive with pictures, and another link to service notes.

Thank You for any knowledge shared here!
Are links appealable to you?
@rembrandt-pitcher If the post containing the links was the very first post on this forum that’s why the links have been automatically removed to prevent spammers (eventually) but try a new post here with new/fresh links and (hopefully) it should work this time. The best way I know so far is to use a picture hosting service called IMGUR and then post a “direct link” here. This way the pictures will already be seen within your post instead of a clickable link that sends you to it. Another good and quick option is http://www.postimages.org (in my experience). Good luck.

As of now, I am thinking to have to test every capacitor on the board.
Also, does anyone have a recommendation on how to remove the brown glue used at the factory, and a substitute?
Thank You!
