Hi everyone … remember this project. I pulled out the guitar amp today that removed the output chip with a tube design that Paul made. Still sounds so great. I am glad I built it a few years ago. Check out the pictures.

– wow, that’s a very nice looking amp mod.
I haven’t done any audio tube amp stuff since I build an 807 push pull amp back in the late 1970’s. I’ve been thinking about getting a new amp for a while and have sort of considered trying a tube version. Your amp pictures are certainly nudging me in that direction 😀 … Thanks for the inspiration!
