If so, what are your current printers? Currently have a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon with AMS, Anker M5, Ender 3 (V)2 Neo (that I am working on fixing), and a Bambu Lab A1 (currently offline due to the recall on the heating bed cable).

I have an Ender5, but not stock anymore, and a Sunlu, and my newest is the Creality K1 Max.
I have not modified the K1 Max yet, but do have a swift hotend ready to go in, but love how it is working right now.
If not broken, why mess with it.

@larry_n7luf Getting ready to upgrade my Ender 3 shortly as it is my backup printer currently (due to bed size). Primarily intend to use if for TPU going forward 🙂
@gbfreeman123 It is best to get a direct drive for it as I did with my Enders5.
I also upgraded the motherboard and added auto bed leveler.
TPU can be fun, and I have printed model aircraft wheels for my friends.
Also a dryer is very importance and has help me with other filaments problems.

@larry_n7luf One of the upgrades is a direct drive, The Ender 3 (V)2 Neo already has a bed leveler, so that is a good thing. Just got the Sunlu 4 filament dryer box, so have that covered as well.
I now have the need for speed, and loving the K1 Max and have not had any problem, but other have had some, but thinks it have been people doing upgrades or making mods for some reason.
Glad you got a dryer, as that really helped me in my prints.
Funny story, I got a CNC machine, and I needed so 3D parts made, and I broke down and got the Ender5, because I did not like the bed going back and forth.
The CNC machine is now just sitting there and I have moved on with other things.
Just not enough time to play with them all.

@gbfreeman123, @larry_n7luf, I have two Creality devices though in truth the older one is waiting for me to find it a new owner. The older one is a CR10s Pro, a great printer at the time, but suffered the growing pains of the technology back then and I got fed up with wasting a lot of time recalibrating and adjusting things.
My current active printer is a K1 max, and I love it. The speed, quality and touch wood/PLA reliability has been a breath of fresh air.
I used it to print various parts for a Radio project I am close to completing. The project is upgrading a 1965 Panasonic T-100 battery-powered transistor radio to include Bluetooth. I replaced the existing plastic battery box with a custom designed plate that has the same mounting holes. That plate supported the Bluetooth receiver, at one end, away from the rest of the circuitry, a rechargeable battery pack, and a veroboard-based circuit that incorporates a couple of bucks boost charge modules and a 5V DC-DC isolator.
My use has primarily been the Bambu Labs X1 Carbon. Good speed, works out of the box, etc… I spent a few days creating custom drawer inserts for Durham Boxes I got for my soldering tools, project parts, and 3d printer parts. Went off of this youtube video and then modified to my need in Fusion 360

@larry_n7luf I also upgraded the motherboard to firmware 4.2.2
@larry_n7luf I had one of the 3018 small CNC machines. It was so much work to get it set up and aligned….. and then the X1 Carbon came out and I got on the 3d printing train hard core. I haven’t used the cnc since.
@larry_n7luf I just noticed your hat…. Is that the test equipment company? We used to have a ICOM tester for working on hand-held radios in the Navy.
@gbfreeman123 The funny things I got the cnc machine was to make MCL PCB and never got it off the ground.
That was one reason I gave up trying to make PCB’s.
But here I am again since 2017 to now and still no PCB.

@larry_n7luf That’s why I needed to get the Durham boxes. Lots of projects partially completed, so I needed a place for the parts.
