@sreaves I always check my post by the Preview to see if it is working like I want.
I have a few failures until I find out to make it work to what I like.
Good luck and watch out for those beer trucks.

@sreaves Damn, I wish you lived in my neighborhood! Just getting started in PCB transfer. Awaiting an Apache AL13P and PCB’s from SEEED (hahaha, thought it was funny using a PCB house to get my laminator up and running) for this APACHE AL13P mod. Anyhow, this MrCarlson has me completely spun out on projects. My Airplane is jealous, wife not so much. Thanks for sharing all your experiences. I guess ensuring the toner is sealed onto the copper is hit or miss? Otherwise, how do you explain your post lamination processes? Didn’t completely follow how you were applying these “toner sealant” stuff from Amazon. Care to detail that?.
I wish I had more people in my area that actually are interested in building and designing real electronics. All of the old time DIY hams are gone to the great resistor in the sky. I guess I am too old school. But I digress…..
Toner Reactive Foil:
Well I after running the toner transfer I simply use the green toner reactive foil and run the board through the laminator again at the same temperature.
This is where I last purchased the foil:

You can find information on the toner transfer film and the PCB-Fab-in-A-Box here:
You can sometimes find NOS of their kits but they have gone out of that business.
All the best!

For example, I’m currently stuck on obtaining a printer that prints at high enough density, heat and quality with toner that will transfer. I
Just bought a Lexmark MS312DN. $250 shipped. eBay has one at 159 free shipping. May my HP LASERJET 6P rest in peace…
I should look for someone that needs some help making a PCB, but since covid we have not had anyone to our home.
This old Ham has to be careful at my age and to close to the big 80.
We also live away out in the country on 8ac.

@sreaves no need to overcomplicate this. I’ve made hundreds of boards using Pauls methods without any expensive foils or papers. As I shared in a previous post I use the paper Paul recommends and an Apache laminator with the quantumharvest mod kit and get excellent results every time. Printer is just an old common HP laserjet. I shared the pulsar link in a previous post. Frank is a great guy, corresponded with him a number of times over the years. Nice that he left the site up to share information after he closed the business.
