HI Can some one give me the part number for the transformer used on Mr Carlson Curve tracer power supply from 2017. Also the XR1468CN IC used is hard to find.

If you re-watch the videos MCL did not specify any part number for the transformer. He only stated that when purchased did not come with a part number. But what you need to know (IE: the output voltage) about the transformer is all specified on the PSU schematic itself. Also on the same schematic there are 3 different part numbers (for the IC) that you can choose from. But again, if you cannot get any of the ICs you can build your dual PSU using different components and design such as other types of “Linear Regulator ICs”: for example, LM78xx and 79xx series or a combination of LM317 (for the positive rail) and LM337 (for the negative rail) or other type of PSU’s providing that is of Linear type Not Switch Mode PSU.

I had a part number for it at one time…it was no longer available. I redesigned the PS board without the transformer and used a separate transformer that had similar specs. I got it from either Mouser or Digikey if I remember correctly

I used a “Signal Transformer” 241-3-20 115V 20VCT

Has it worked OK, for it’s intended use?

Has the same specs as the PCB mount style transformer Mr C used in original design, with the only difference being that it has a mounting flange and is not PCB mounted

Sounds a good choice, then.

I have not made the PCB, but I ordered DigiKey Part Number MT2213-ND for my power supply and hope it what I need.

It is small, and the picture is a closeup of it.
I hope this helps others and I got the part number from Pateron comments.
